All-Star Levels

Novice

In All Star Cheer, the Novice level is typically the entry-level division, designed for athletes new to the sport or those transitioning from other levels. Novice routines are generally shorter and focus on developing fundamental skills like tumbling, stunting, and basic choreography.

1

In All Star Cheer, Level 1 requires athletes to master fundamental tumbling skills, including forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, and front and back walkovers. Stunts in Level 1 involve knee or waist level single-leg stunts, two-footed preps, and straight cradles. Pyramids also have specific connection/brace requirements.

2

In All Star Cheer, Level 2 requires teams to demonstrate a foundation of tumbling and stunting skills, including back handsprings, front handsprings, and various stunts with increased height and twisting. Tumbling skills at Level 2 include backhandsprings, front handsprings, and connecting these to basic Level 1 tumbling. Stunting progresses to include single-leg stunts, extended two-footed stunts, and half-twisting mounts.

3

In All Star Cheer level 3, tumbling includes skills like aerialspunch fronts, and round off handspring tucks. Stunting involves one-legged stunts at shoulder height or above, with more complex mounts and dismounts. Single skill tosses are also allowed. Teams may also perform tucks in tumbling and basket skills, as well as one-legged stunts on extended level.

2026-2027 Teams

Tiny WildOnes

Our 26-27 Season Tiny Team will be a Novice group. Ages 4-7. This is a great start for our beginning athletes to experience all-star competition for the first time and become comfortable with their routines and skills before getting a true score evaluation. Novice Teams help introduce the athlete into the sport and aren't as demanding as a true elite level team. Routines are only 1min in length covering the basic jumps, dance, intro to stunts and tumbling.

Youth DangerZone

Our 26-27 Youth Team will be a Level 1 Elite all-star group. Ages range from 7-12. We will continue learning more of the basics of stunting, fine tune motions and dance technique, and continue to improve proper tumbling requirements for the level one skills. This does not include back handsprings nor the introduction to back handsprings

JR LimeLight

Our 26-27 Season JR Team will be a Level 2 Elite all-star group. Ages rang from 8-16. We are working advanced tumbling connection skills with back handsprings and above level skills. We will solidify the level 1 stunt technique without bracers and introduce inversions, dismounts, baskets, and twisting skills. Flyers flexibility is required to be in the air and hit the correct body positions. Jumps and motion technique should not have to be taught.
